walking bridge with a light at the end

easter

exceptional: this sign represents nothing but an empty building

this is the most disturbing sign i've seen in boise: a tragic event to tacky office joke to grade school colloquialism to fed ex drop spot that presents itself as the only reasonable place for happy Americans to ship their packages (click to see details)

click to enlarge: i don't know what he is doing on the side of the building but he made me feel very good: & he was instrumental in the purchase of my pull-up bar (see below)

things i acquired today: a pull-up bar (really, the most exciting thing i've purchased in many months): laundry detergent (arm & hammer now makes an environmentally friendly version): organic soap: organic apple: lotion: non-environmentally friendly toilet paper (i hate purchasing toilet paper more than anything on the planet...it is a time when i am consciously ashamed to live in the "first world": i'm so rich i pay money to wipe my ass): power bill (yes, i pay the extra $3 for "green" wind power): new jeans to replace the old

favorite steps to rest on when talking a walk

mail from some magnificent people (below)

enclosed: two hand-sewn books: a translation of chinese poetry & a book of fears
