it's getting hot in here

went to pick up papers @ school & made a funny face: i think i am thinking about someone: after about 1pm i made it a point not to take my sunglasses off no matter where i was: it's called mystery

this is what saffron looks like: this is my new favorite spice: i don't think you can call it an herb: i think it is a crocus: crocus sounds like tree to me & herbs don't grow on trees

i've been making funny faces all day long: there is a picture of a man making paellea in a giant traditional basque pan (next to right elbow)

a. & i ate @ the basque market: there was a dispute that she attempted to solve by looking stuff up on the internet

magical pineapple poetry party!

today was the last day my 205 poetry class met this semester: there was fruit: there was chocolate zucchini cake: & yes, there was poetry

l. recited an e.e. cummings poem: so i gave her a pineapple

music was played with guitar: later a song was sung with a ukulele by another student & another sang accapella in spanish: & yes, more poems were read: man my students got talent!

then we waived goodbye!

but not without some spoken word: word!

a. had boys over for a beer on her "porch": you can now stay out all night without getting cold: i'm not sure how i feel about this

this is a bad photo of b.r.'s rig: someday i'm going to have one that looks just like it: but it will be in montana: & maybe a few years older: & maybe diesel so i can run it on fryer oil: or maybe i'll just pop a hybrid engine into it, i'm sure the technology will be available

r. bought me lunch today: she also bought me a massage for my birthday: i can't wait: though i probably won't take pictures of it
