a very stupid child round with excess/ once told me that a feeling won't stop/ until all hands let go like water/falling into the cavity of/ a left bear in the offing// but where is the petition &/ to whom must we submit it/ to begin anew not with family our friends/ but with our own solitary dark matter/ in collected rays of light/ without the petina of command/ or dried blood beneath a fingernail// i see the miniature pure white horse running/ covered in the shit of a flock of sheep beneath its feet/ & the weight of that refuse weighs it down and/ keeps it warm from winter// i see the clouds moving not/ by looking up and skyward/ but by looking out to the efflux/ of shadows loosening down a yellow mountainside// hear me brother/ apply an us to my i/ give me a we for our/ tear me an electron from/ whatever atom you may find/ from a frosted garden/ october time
